Modern Clinic

Utilizing a modern clinic for patient care enhances the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of healthcare services. Equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, electronic health records (EHRs), and telehealth capabilities, modern clinics streamline patient evaluation and treatment, supporting evidence-based practice. These clinics foster interdisciplinary collaboration, allowing healthcare professionals to provide holistic and patient-centered care. Additionally, modern clinics often incorporate preventive care strategies and patient education, empowering individuals to actively participate in managing their health. This approach aligns with higher levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy—such as applying and evaluating—by encouraging critical thinking and informed decision-making in both patients and providers, thereby promoting optimal health outcomes.

Health Care

Health care delivery within the clinic setting plays a vital role in promoting patient wellness, disease prevention, and chronic condition management. Clinics serve as accessible points of entry into the healthcare system, providing timely and cost-effective services ranging from routine check-ups to specialized care. By integrating technology, such as electronic health records and diagnostic equipment, clinics improve care coordination and continuity. Healthcare professionals in the clinic environment utilize clinical judgment and evidence-based interventions to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care.

Insurance

Our clinic is currently operating on a cash-only basis, which allows us to deliver prompt and affordable care without the administrative delays often associated with insurance processing. While this model supports streamlined patient visits and transparent pricing, we recognize the importance of expanding access to a broader population. As such, we are actively working toward credentialing with major insurance providers, and medicaid, to enhance affordability and convenience for our patients.

Ed Parker, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Primary Care Provider

our Provider

Ed Parker is a family nurse practitioner who received his Associate Degree of Applied Sciences in Nursing from Macomb Community College in Clinton Township, Michigan (a Detroit suburb). he decided to continue his education and received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree online from Ohio University. After completed his BSN, Ed was not impressed with some providers not providing the care patients needed. So, he went back to school to get his Master's Degree in Nursing from Ohio University as a Family Nurse Practitioner. So, now Ed can order tests, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions. He moved to Florida in 2021 because Michigan does not allow nurse practitioners to have their own practice. When he reached the number of hours required, he became autonomous and no longer require any collaborative agreement with a physician. So, here he is living the dream here in Florida with his own practice to provide high quality, low-cost care to the residents of Lee County.
